Hi Jerry,

I know this is a very old post, but I wanted to let you know that we took your suggestion and implemented an RSS feed for Amabudy (now called 'Ringfo' ) .

The service is the same as before, just a new name and some new features. Just go to http://ringfo.com , log in with your phone number just as before, and you'll be given the option to get your RSS url.

if you want to enter it directly, it looks something like this :

http://ringfo.com/cgi-bin/rss_generator.py?phonenum=1235551234

where '1235551234' is your 10-digit phone number.

You can use that in any RSS reader you like -- I have mine in my Bloglines (http://www.bloglines.com> account, so I can keep track of the items I look up with Ringfo.

thanks for the feedback and I hope you enjoy using the service.

cheers,

-Todd

Well we just had the final episode of LOST here in New Zealand and we are still left with a lot of answers. They said there would be answers in the final episode but you are still left confused. Only answer I got was why the plane crashed but nothing else seemed to make sense and others I have spoken to about it came to the same conclusion.

Hi,

Please try TicTap as well. http://www.tictap.com

TicTap searches by SMS, so the information is stored in your phone. We are not limited to just ISBN and UPC, try keywords too. But try to be descriptive with the words.

You can visit the website later to review all your SMS searches

TicTap also has web-based search. You can also find top-selling, most-gifted, most-wished, and newly-released products. You can even SMS price information for a product to your cell phone from the web site!

We also have a Konfabulator widget for download.

Lee,

My brain must have been mush on that post. I thought I'd linked the image back to Walmart but guess not... I've updated the post with a link just above the image.

That looks pretty cool, but you didn't provide any info on what it's called or the manufacturer. Who makes this thing? Thanks.

Jerry,

VERY cool... Just listened to the test podcast. I really dig the idea of such low overhead as you explained. Sounds like it's going to be a pretty sweet app.

Steve,

I will absolutely help you out with what I have outlined as a base architecture. I've got a pretty good example laid out from basic open-source stuff. Hit me up on Skype and I'll walk you through it.

So Jerry,

You going to publish the specs on this thing? I've got a couple interviews lined up and I have a very similar setup.

Thanks!
